Matthew is a Principal Architect with a Master’s of Architecture from Morgan State University. His design philosophy is rooted in a rare duality: the grit of hands on construction and the refinement of award winning mentorship. His professional path was forged working alongside industry leaders at a premier national firm, where he sharpened the technical expertise required to lead complex, high stakes projects.
Today, Matthew offers full spectrum architectural services. From initial programming and conceptual design through meticulous documentation and construction administration. By combining large firm sophistication with the responsiveness and clarity of an independent practice, he provides every client with tailored architectural excellence.
Matthew believes that great architecture should be universally welcoming, transcending barriers to create spaces where every individual feels a sense of belonging. By prioritizing human-centric design and diverse perspectives, he aims to reflect the unique needs of the entire community he serves.
Beyond the studio, Matthew is a firm believer in the preservation of local history and the beauty of the outdoors. Inspired by local organizations that create vibrant communities and access to nature, Matthew is a member of the Goshen Farm Preservation Society and Annapolis Maritime Museum. He and his family live in Annapolis, MD, with their favorite Shepherd, Duggee. Whether they are paddling on local rivers or exploring parks they understand what makes the Chesapeake Bay such an important and unique place to call home.
